The 'Stangs played a strong game against the second place Halifax Titans tonight at home. Solid goaltending by Cole Skinner kept the game close. Skinner saved 48 of 50 shots on net. Strowbridge came through with an unassisted goal with 11:35 left in the game to make the score 2-1 Halifax. The boys fought hard until the end, with a final score of 2-1.

The South Shore community was the real winner tonight, raising 700 hundred dollars in support of the Shay family through door sales, 50/50 and raffle tickets. Ryan Shay is a former Mustang player who was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident earlier this month.

Mustangs are looking for continued community support at Tuesday night's final regular season home game versus Dartmouth Taylor Flooring. Tuesday night's game will be a Minor Hockey Night, so any minor hockey player wearing a team jersey will receive free admission. Raffle tickets for the $200 BBQ donated by Canadian Tire Bridgewater will continue to be sold at Tuesday night's game and all proceeds will continue to go directly to the Shay family.

We ask that you come out to support your South Shore Mustangs and fellow hockey family.
