New Year and new goals for the Mustangs

The Mustangs are looking to turn their season around this weekend with 2 home games on Saturday and Sunday against the Pictou County Weeks. After a dismal month of December which saw the South Shore Mustangs finish 0-6-1 in the final month of 2012, they will look to climb out of last place with 4 points against Pictou. With a much need week off the Mustangs seem rejuvenated as they hit the ice this past Saturday in their first practice back. With a full squad the boys plan to out-work the gritty visiting team from Pictou. As the New Year begins the mustangs hope to turn their luck around and close the season off in a way that we all know they can. Come out and support our local team this Saturday night in Bridgewater and Sunday morning. The Mustangs would also like to congratulate goaltender Cory Peterson on his recent call-up to the Yarmouth Marniers Jr.A team for the weekend and welcome affiliate goaltender Colby Muise from the Western Hurricanes Major Bantam’s to the team for his first weekend in a Mustangs jersey.
