Mustangs Awards Banquet

The Canadian Tire South Shore Major Midget Mustangs held their Closing Banquet on Sunday May 27th and handed out their team awards. The recipients for the 2011-2012 season are as follows:

Unsung Hero- Brandon Challoner

Coach's award- Jamie Blair

Rookie Defenseman- Alex Mann

Rookie Forward- Morgan Messenger

Forward of the Year: Avery Clarke

Defensemen of the Year- Brennan Bailey

Most Valuable Player - Shaun McEachern
 

Also, new "Mustang" records were set this year:

-Mustang Record of Most points in a season by a Defensemen: Brennan Bailey
-Most Career points by a Defenseman: Brennan Bailey
-Most Goals by a Defenseman: Brennan Bailey
Lowest Goal Against Average in a "Mustang" season: Cory Peterson
