A big congratulation goes out to Mustang defenseman Ryan Graves who was selected in the annual QMJHL draft this past weekend in Victoriaville, Quebec.  Ryan was selected in the 1st round 9th overall by the PEI Rocket.  Graves was the highest NSMMHL player taken this year and the only 1st rounder from the NSMMHL.

Graves is the highest drafted Mustang in over 10 years, possibly ever.  His drafting caps off an excellent rookie season in the NSMMHL where Ryan was a member of the NS Canada Games team as well as taking home the Scott Dee Memorial Award for the league’s top rookie defenseman.

Congratulations Ryan and best of luck at camp!
