Ryan Graves drafted in 1st Round of QMJHL Draft. Highest NSMMHL player taken

A big congratulation goes out to Mustang defenseman Ryan Graves who was selected in the annual QMJHL draft this past weekend in Victoriaville, Quebec.  Ryan was selected in the 1^st round 9^th overall by the PEI Rocket.  Graves was the highest NSMMHL player taken this year and the only 1^st rounder from the NSMMHL.

Graves is the highest drafted Mustang in over 10 years, possibly ever.  His drafting caps off an excellent rookie season in the NSMMHL where Ryan was a member of the NS Canada Games team as well as taking home the Scott Dee Memorial Award for the league’s top rookie defenseman.
