Mustangs Hand out Hardware at Banquet

The South Shore Canadian Tire Mustangs wrapped up a successful season last night at the beautiful new Best Western Hotel in Bridgewater with a team banquet.

After some great opening remarks by President Lionel Haughn highlighting the positives of the year the guests were treated to a fabulous meal by the staff at the Best Western as well as a great speech by guest speaker Bill McInnis.  Bill was the 1^st President of the Mustangs and told the unique story of the teams inception and name as well as providing some great advice to the players.  Captain Jagger Harnish also addressed those in attendance with a great speech highlighting his time as a Mustang.

At the end of the night, the team handed out its year end awards.  Below is a summary of the awards.

Most Improved – Cole Skinner

Top Rookie – Ryan Graves

Unsung Hero – Robert Patterson

Top Defenseman – Brennan Bailey

Coaches Award – Jagger Harnish

MVP – Brandon Verge

The Canadian Tire Mustangs would like to thank everyone in attendance for a great night and thank all of their sponsors and billet families once again.  Your support is much appreciated and a valued part of our program.

As we close the book on the 2010-11 season with many great memories we now turn our focus to the 2011-12 season with much excitement and anticipation.
