The Canadian Tire Mustangs dropped their final pre season tune up....
The Canadian Tire Mustangs dropped their final pre season tune up last night to the Halifax Titans 8-6. The Mustangs held a 5-3 lead with 16 minutes remaining but Halifax stormed back with 5 goals in the final 16 minutes to take the contest.
Scoring for the Mustangs was Brandon Verge with two, Connor Hirtle, Jagger Harnish, Brandon Challoner and Connor O'Brien
Cole Skinner allowed 3 goals on 16 shots in the first 30 minutes, while Garret Fancy allowed 5 goals on 17 shots in the second half.
Scoring for the Titans was Adam Stevens with two, Adam Brown, Ryan Falkenham, Damon MacEachern, Jeremy Butterworth, John Mullally and Brad MacEachern.
Mac Einerson allowed 2 goals on 11 shots while Jonathan Boutin allowed 4 goals on 13 shots.
The Titans held a 33-24 shot advatage for the game.
