The South Shore Mustangs were defeated by the Halifax Titans in a back and forth affair in Bridgewater last night by a score of 6-2.
Scoring for Halifax was Tyler Mathieu with 2, Brad MacEachern, Adam Brown, Adam Stevens and Cole Bulger.
Scoring for the Mustangs was Tyler Wile and Jagger Harnish. Riley Strowbridge collected 2 assists.
Garrett Fancy allowed 3 goals on 11 shots while Cole Skinner allowed 3 goals on 23 shots.
Shots favoured the Titans 34-29.
Period scores favored the Titans 2-1 after 1 period and 4-2 after 2.
The two teams will meet again Thursday night in their final pre season tune up. Game time in St Margarets Bay is 8:30pm.
Currently 12 forwards 7 defenceman and 3 goalies remain in Mustangs training camp.
The Mustangs will start the regular season off in Pictou County this Saturday and Sunday.
