Rookie netminder Billy Clarke stopped all 22 shots he faced Saturday night as the Mustangs earned their 3rd win in a row with a 4-0 win over the visiting Valley Wildcats in Bridgewater. Rookie sensation Brandon Challoner scored his 5th goal in his 7th game while Ian Mitchell, Shaun McEachern and Tyler Peterson added singles. The Mustangs have faced much adversity thus far this season with the unjury bug, but seem to have found a way to get the job gone over the past number of games. The Mustangs have fired over 35 shots on goal the last 3 games while giving up less than 25. This is a great improvement over the first 5 games where the boys strugguled to get pucks through to the net. Keep up the great work guys!
Notes: Rookie Braden Mercier underwent succesful surgery on Thursday to remove his appendix, the entire team is looking forward to his return. Rookie Jon Hatt is only weeks away from returning after suffering broken arm in September. The entire Mustang family is anxiously awaiting thier return to the lineup!
