The South Shore Mustangs would like to welcome two new assistant coaches to the staff.
Shawn Woodworth started coaching as an assistant coach with the Western Hurricanes/South Shore Lumberjacks Major Bantam in 2014/15. He has been the head coach of the Western Hurricanes/South Shore Lumberjacks Major Bantam program from 2015/16 - 2018/19. Attending the NSMBL provincial tournament three consecutive seasons 2016/17 2018/19, winning bronze twice, in 2016/17 and 2018/19.
Jacob Conrad is a Mustangs alumni and former captain of the South Shore Lumberjacks. Jacob played for the Mustang for 2007 to 2009 before moving on to the South Shore Lumberjacks (MHL) and the Gatineau Olympique (QMJHL) from 2009-12. From junior he moved on to play U Sport in the OUA for the Nipissing Lakers from 2013/14 – 2016/17. Jacob is returning home after completing his degree in education from Nipissing University.
