Five Canadian Tire Mustangs heard their name called at the 2009 MJAHL Draft held June 20th at the Amherst arena. The Bridgewater Lumberjacks selected three Mustangs, led by Territorial Picks Jacob Conrad & Graham Mann. Defenceman Bryce Hirtle was the third Mustang taken by the Lumberjacks. Forward Jack Strowbridge was a 6th Round selection of the Truro Bearcats and former Mustang Jory Uhlman, now playing at Hoosac Prep in upstate New York was taken by the Pictou County Crushers.
