PENATLY SPELLS DIASTER FOR MUSTANGS
2008-10-05For two and one half periods the Weeks Major Midgets & the Canadian Tire Mustangs battled, with neither team finding the back of the net. Then with just over twelve minutes left in the game a five mminute major for cross-checking spelled diaster for the Mustangs. The Weeks scored three times on the power-play and seemed headed for an easy win. Then they decided penalties were good and took four in a row. The Mustangs were able to convert two into goals but could not get the equalizer. Bryce Hirtle had a goal and assist for the Mustangs and Graham Mann added the other goal. Colin Huskins turned aside 41 shots in the Mustang net.
